JUDY ANN BUNCEJudy Ann Bunce, Chair (Zone 1)
Commissioner Bunce believes in preserving our Everglades ecosystem. She does her part to protect the environment by serving on the District’s Board and participating in community events to spread the word about conservation and preservation of our most valuable resource: Water!
SUSAN COYLESusan Coyle (Zone 2)
Commissioner Coyle joined in 2022.
DOUGLAS R. BELLDouglas R. Bell (Zone 3)
Commissioner Bell is an engineer and attorney and is very attentive to drainage details with developers, assuring residents and businesses will not be flooded during a storm event. As he says, “It’s all about where we are putting the water. Drainage design, when done correctly, prevents floods.”
Leslie Schroeder, Vice-Chair (Zone 4)
Commissioner Schroeder recently returned to service with the District.
Miguel Castillo (Zone 5)
Commissioner Castillo has lived in Driftwood, a subdivision of Hollywood he loves and calls home, for more than 30 years. He is a Certified Arborist and a Master Gardener. Mr. Castillo is committed to the District’s core mission: keeping canals clear of debris, ensuring drainage systems operate efficiently, and maintaining the District’s ability to manage city growth while remaining focused on flood control and water quality monitoring.
DAVID DONZELLADavid Donzella (Zone 6)
Commissioner Donzella has served as an advocate for capital improvement projects to prevent flooding in residential and business neighborhoods, throughout the District, and accommodate the rapid growth of the area. He enjoys hearing from the people he serves.
